Man, I Love The Dems
One of Senator Obama's senior advisers has had to resign after calling Senator Clinton a "monster." First, this from Fox;
And this from the Scotsman;
And now, this from me.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...I love how these two Leftist clowns are shredding each other. I know a lot of people are yammering about a Clinton-Obama ticket...but if they actually do this, imagine the infowar campaign that my boys can run. Each of their attacks is rich fodder for McCain. And, the longer this fight goes on, the more divided the Dems will be, the more resources they will expend, the more time McCain has to define himself and to work on his presidential campaign and present himself as the experienced adult, as opposed to these two neophyte whiners.
I love it.

An adviser to Barack Obama who called Hillary Clinton a “monster” during an interview has resigned, apologizing for the remark amid pressure from the Clinton campaign.
Samantha Power, an unpaid foreign policy adviser to Obama and Pulitzer Prize-winning writer, made the offending comment during an interview with the Scottish newspaper The Scotsman.
“With deep regret, I am resigning from my role as an adviser to the Obama campaign effective today,” Power said in a statement Friday. “Last Monday, I made inexcusable remarks that are at marked variance from my oft-stated admiration for Senator Clinton and from the spirit, tenor, and purpose of the Obama campaign. And I extend my deepest apologies to Senator Clinton, Senator Obama, and the remarkable team I have worked with over these long 14 months.”
Power had released an apology, saying her remarks “do not reflect my feelings about Senator Clinton.”
[...]
“She is a monster, too — that is off the record — she is stooping to anything,” Power told the newspaper, which published the remarks in Friday’s edition and released them earlier on the paper’s Web site.
In saying it was “off the record,” Power tried to withdraw her remark, but the newspaper explained at the bottom of its story that the interview with Power, who was promoting her book, was established as “on the record” in advance. The newspaper wrote that it was “too late” for her to retract her comment.
Power also told the newspaper Clinton was appealing to low-income voters by trying to suggest Obama would endanger their jobs.
“The amount of deceit she has put forward is really unattractive,” she said.
Clinton supporters on a conference call Friday called for Power to leave the campaign.
And this from the Scotsman;
Yesterday, the Obama camp went on the offensive, pointing out that Mrs Clinton has still not released her tax return and casting doubt on her experience.
[...]
Earlier, clearly rattled by the Ohio defeat, Ms Power told The Scotsman Mrs Clinton was stopping at nothing to try to seize the lead from her candidate.
"We f***** up in Ohio," she admitted. "In Ohio, they are obsessed and Hillary is going to town on it, because she knows Ohio's the only place they can win.
"She is a monster, too – that is off the record – she is stooping to anything," Ms Power said, hastily trying to withdraw her remark.
Ms Power said of the Clinton campaign: "Here, it looks like desperation. I hope it looks like desperation there, too.
"You just look at her and think, 'Ergh'. But if you are poor and she is telling you some story about how Obama is going to take your job away, maybe it will be more effective. The amount of deceit she has put forward is really unattractive."
[...]
The Clinton campaign has also attacked Mr Obama's inexperience on foreign matters, but Ms Power insisted he was not afraid to take tough decisions on this front.
She added: "Hillary Clinton always portrays his position on meeting with dictators as naive."
Ms Power also described working for Mr Obama as a pleasure, and said that people who knew him "adore him".
She added: "When we started this, we were all backing the guy who was supposed to lose.
"He was 25 points down going in to Iowa in January.
"If people were in this for the job or the political reward they would have gone somewhere else. They would not have gone to Barack."
Ms Power also said she believed Gordon Brown and Mr Obama would get on "like a house on fire".
And now, this from me.
